The grant application deadline is August 9 1996. <br /> The Town Recreation building located at Heritage. s g e Cage Park has 876 usable <br /> square feet housing a maximum number of twenty-three children informed <br /> Ms. Cay. The proposed expansion will contain 2,715 usable square feet <br /> and house ninety persons. <br /> Renovations will also include two additional handicapaccess restroom <br /> facilities indicated <br /> Ms. Gay who noted that the grant if attained,must benefit <br /> low to moderate income people. <br /> Ms.Cay indicated that she is seeking further information with respect to <br /> the potential benefits of P <br /> po the renovation and proposed expansion of the <br /> Town Recreation building. If the objective cannot beroven, Ms. Ga will <br /> seek fundingp y <br /> for the planning of the Senior Center. <br /> The Aquaculture program will create jobs for low and moderate income <br /> persons informed Ms. Gay. Funds will be used to support the existing Tribal Aquaculture development area. <br /> The Public Social Service element of the FY 96 CommunityDevelopment <br /> Block grant will provide funding to develop and operate additional childcare <br /> and child development services through the Leisure Services Department <br /> informed Ms. Cay. <br /> Full day child care will benefit low to moderate income persons with <br /> children age six months to five years. The sliding fee scale will be based <br /> upon income indicated Ms. Gay. <br /> The total estimated project cost for the above grant components in the <br /> multi-purpose application are$530,000 informed Ms. Gay. <br />
