f <br /> Minutes of Meeting of <br /> Mashpee Design Review committee <br /> Tuesday, February 21, 2017 <br /> Ma hpee Town Hall Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> Committee Members Present: Joseph Cummings, .Jonathan Furbush, and <br /> Michael Mendoza. <br /> Michael Mendoza called the meeting to order at 8:31 a.m. <br /> 15 Commercial street, south cape Market Place <br /> Business — Home Goods at South Cape Market place <br /> Applicant requests the following — <br /> Demolition and reconstruction of Building B <br /> The space will be modified from several small retail <br /> Spaces to one retail space increasing the building <br /> Floor area by approximately 5,000 sq. ft. and <br /> Narrowing Joy street <br /> Representative — Matthew eddy, I .E., Baxter <br /> Nye Engineering and surge in <br /> Matt Eddy introduced Daren Johnson (property manager), Eliza Cox (attorney), <br /> and Jeffrey Gannon (architect with PCA firm). Matt Eddy went through the Site <br /> Plan at south Cape Market Place, formerly called South Cape pillage. <br /> Proposal is to demolish Building "B" and reconstruct an additional 5,000 <br /> square feet over the existing Building B — thus final footprint of <br /> reconstructed building would total 20,000 square foot. <br /> o Currently Building B has slabs stepped for each of the units} <br /> reconstruction would have one continuous slab elevation. <br /> 0 ,Joy street currently has orae-way access from Commercial street to south <br /> Street with angled parki ng on one side, There aro 13 parking spaces <br /> currently on Joy street. <br /> Proposed Joy Street building footprint will narrow Joy street with a loss of <br /> parking spaces- and Joy street traffic direction would be reversed to be <br /> a one-way going towards Commercial street from South street} with <br /> parallel parking. <br /> 0 Reviewed Flan with Fire [department; and they were fine with this layout. <br /> 0Adding 0+ parking spaces in the open field (Building "G" site area), <br /> referred to as the `pumpkin patch k} area...gaining 13 parking spaces, <br /> 0 lain entrance into Home Goods would be off of Commercial Street. <br /> 0 Raised brick work of Joy street will be shifted slightly. <br /> 0 Vertical curb face to be added. <br /> * Grading worked out very well. <br />
