F. f <br /> Minutes of Meeting of <br /> Mashpee Design Review Committee <br /> Tuesday, April 18, 201 <br /> Mabee Town Hall Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> Committee Members Present: Joseph Cummings, Jonathan Furbush, and <br /> Michael Mendoza. <br /> Audience: Sam Houghton — Mashpee Enterprise <br /> Michael Mendoza called the meeting to order at 8:38 a.m. and stated that the <br /> meeting would start with the review and approval of the minutes since one of <br /> Applicant's representatives has not fret arrived. <br /> Approval of Minutes <br /> Joseph Cummings motioned to accept the Minutes of the Design Review <br /> Meeting of February 21, 2017, as presented- Jonathan Furbush seconded the <br /> }notion; and the motion was passed by Design Review. <br /> 22 Steeple street <br /> Requests the installation of a <br /> Carport structure with solar collectors. <br /> Representative-._Thomas Feronti <br /> John Connell, one of the representatives from Mashpee Commons, addressed <br /> the meeting and said he is standing in for Torn Ferontif who is on vacation. He <br /> said they are proposing installation of a structure with solar collectors in the <br /> parking lot behind the JPs Store at Mashpee Commons. <br /> This is the second solar installation at Mashpee commons; and this will <br /> provide pourer and provide protection from sun in the summer and from <br /> snow in the winter. John Connell said putting solar collectors in a remote <br /> parking space area will probably make that parking area more attractive. <br /> • Reviewed with the Fire Department to make sure the structure is high <br /> enough for fire trucks to navigate around. <br /> • Structure will not produce or eliminate site parking spaces} but will <br /> eliminate the little islands out there now. <br /> • It is the intention to use the pourer from these solar collectors to power the <br /> lights in that parking lot area. <br />
