11 ASHPFE ENVIRONMENTAL OVERSIGHT COMMITTEEZ <br /> MELTING MINUTES <br /> APRIL 12, 2017 - 6:30 P.M. <br /> I ASHPEE TOWN HALL <br /> Present: Michael el Tally ot, Dale McKay,Joseph Cummings, I atelyn Cad oret <br /> Absent: Andrew McManus, Andrew Gotlieb, Rick York, <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Chairman Michael Talbot called the meeting to order at 6.30 p.m, <br /> APPROVAL OF MEETING MINUTES: <br /> January 11,2017 minutes <br /> Motion-., Mr. McKay moved to approve tete January 11, 2017 minutes, seconded Mr. <br /> Cummings. vote unanimous 4-0 <br /> REPORTS <br /> Communications and Correspondence <br /> Mone <br /> New Business <br /> Turf Fertilizer Bylaw Nutrient Regulations: Update on proposed bylaw revisions to <br /> enhance enforcement and to include phosphorus regulation. <br /> Mr. Talbot stated he has not received any comments or revisions of any bind. He will cheep <br /> again with town counsel to see if this bylaw was accepted as written. The article will he <br /> included in the May town meeting and will educate people as to their phosphorus use. The <br /> Conservation Department and the Department of Natural Resources will he added as <br /> enforcement officers. <br /> Discussion and recommendations for limiting off-road vehicle, ATV and dirt hilae damage, <br /> to Conservation. Lands. <br /> I atelyn Cadoret stated they have been using the cameras at the conservation areas which are <br /> working very well and teaming up with the police department and DPW. They have issued <br /> several citations and most people are paying-the fines. The police department has made their <br /> presence known and the Conservation Agent also has been very vigilant in the area and has <br /> moved the cameras around which is verb'helpful. <br />
