He said until we get the approval of the Attorney'sGeneral's Office there is not <br /> much point in talking about enforcement because technically it i s with the Board of Health. <br /> Estuary estoration/Shell#ish Propagation Update <br /> DRI Review: IIIA}s with other towns: Update—No update <br /> Planning for sewers: connections with private sewers; No update <br /> Pond & Estuary 'water Quality Monitoring: Update <br /> Mr. McKay stated he will be doing,water quality monitoring training on John's Pond <br /> Quashnet River Restoration/Realignment Project: update <br /> Mr, McKay ay noted there are individuals at the Rod and Gun Club that are interested in re- <br /> establishing the old herrinruts into John's Pond. <br /> Mashpee Community Gardens Revitalization: Update <br /> The Chair stated he attended the hearing of the Mashpee Historical District.Commission which <br /> came out very strongly for not putting the pickle ball court at the Mashpee Community Gardens <br /> site. There was a lot of support for the garden. He said we have people responding to it but be <br /> didn't like hearing that DPW will have nothing to do with it. He said it is town land and there is <br /> going to have to be a transition to establish soi-ne Friable user organization. Mr. McKay stated <br /> there is going to have to be a strong citizen involvement of people who are interested in getting <br /> together. The Chair stated several towns on the Cape all have community gardens that work. He <br /> said the gardens have to sustain themselves and certain issues have to be addressed. There needs <br /> to be a locked gate so the users have access and the non-users do not, Mr. Gottlieb suggested <br /> creating a non-profit group and do a contract with them. We have-to get the word out to create <br /> more interest* <br /> REPORTS <br />
