MASHPEE ENVIRONMENTAL OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE <br /> MEETING MINUTES <br /> DECEMBER 13,6:30 P.M. <br /> MASHPEE TOWN HALL <br /> OCKWAY MEETING ROOM <br /> Present: Michael Talbot,Dale McKay, Joseph Cummings,Rick York„Katelyn Cadoret <br /> Absent: Andrew Gottlieb and Andrew McManus <br /> Call to Order <br /> The meeting was called to order by Chairman Michael Talbot @ 6:30 p.m. <br /> Approval of Minutes—November 8, 2017 <br /> Motion: Rick York moved to approve the November 8, 2017 minutes, seconded by Dale <br /> McKay . Vote 4-0.4 with Joe Cummings abstaining. <br /> COMMUNICATIONS & CORRESPONDENCE: <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> • Single Use Plastic Bag Ban Bylaw: Update on December Notification, <br /> Implementation and Enforcement <br /> No Update <br /> • Staffing and Consulting Needs for the Sewer Commission and Planning Department <br /> No Update <br /> • Mashpec Greenway CPC application for Quashnet Footbridge and Pathway <br /> The Chair stated the Chairman of the Planning Board has asked that EOC review and <br /> support the Mashpee Greenway CPC application for Quashnet Footbridge and Pathway. <br /> The original design had wetland issues and the bridge will now be longer and more <br /> expensive and CPC will need an additional $84,000. The Chair stated the bridge is a <br /> critical part of the Greenway which connects open space areas. <br /> Following a review of the application, it was generally agreed to approve the application. <br /> Katelyn Cadoret stated she will support it as long as the rerouting of the bridge will take <br /> into consideration the wetland resource issues. Dale McKay stated he would need to see <br /> more information on the final design of the bridge. <br /> The Chair stated he is planning to attend the CPC meeting to be held tomorrow night. <br />
