Taylor; Department of Public Works Director <br /> Catherine Laurent; Superintendent Patricia DeBoer; Mashpee Schools Athletic Director <br /> Matt Triveri; <br /> Also Present: Selectman Carol Sherman, School Committee Member George Schmidt <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Collins at 5:30 p.m. <br /> Mashpee Town Hall, Popponesset Meeting Room <br /> MINUTES <br /> December 5,2018 and December 6, 2018: <br /> Motion made by Mr. Richardson to approve the minutes of December 5, 2018 and December 6, <br /> 2018 as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Mr. Gottlieb. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Mr. Collins,yes Mr. Gottlieb,yes Mrs. Thayer,yes <br /> Mr. Gasior,yes Mr. Richardson,yes Opposed, none <br /> Discussion of Breakdown of Costs for Ockway Boat Ramp Building <br /> Chairman Collins announced that his discussion will be postponed. DPW Director Laurent stated that <br /> after a conversation with the Natural Resources Director Richard York, the proposed use has changed <br /> and may include boat maintenance and storage. Mr. Collins that it needs to be determined what <br /> exactly will be conducted in the facility and then an accurate cost can be calculated for the project. The <br /> Department of Natural Resources has been directed to have a full scope ready for mid-January to <br /> continue deliberations on the building. Mr. Richardson asked why the change at this point and Ms. <br /> Laurent stated that it is important to pull in all of the needs for the building. Mr. Collins said the Capital <br /> Improvement Committee was not crystal clear on the Natural Resources Department's needs. Mr. <br /> Richardson asked how much money will they need, and Mr. Collins said he did not think it would be <br /> more than three hundred thousand dollars, but the discussion will be continued at a date later in <br /> January or February of 2019, after the Town Manager receives a detailed plan and estimated cost for <br /> a building in line with what the Natural Resources Department feels it needs. <br />
