DeBoer <br /> Quashnet School Princ ipal Mary Date O'Brien <br /> Brien <br /> Meeting Called to Order by the respective Chairpersons at :03 p.m. <br /> Mashpee Town Hall, Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> Discussion relative to the Quashnet School Door Window and Roof Project. <br /> The Board of S electrnen conducted a joint meeting with members of the Finance Committee and School <br /> Committee for the purpose of reviewing the Quashnet School Door, Window and Roof Project. <br /> In attendance to discuss this matter were Catherine Laurent, Director of public Works, Siva Sivalogan of <br /> exPE Tcon, Inc. the Town's assigned Owners project Manager(OPM)and Gene Raymond and Jeff <br /> Yost of Raymond Design Associates, Inc. <br /> After completing the Statement of Interest(SOI),the Massachusetts School Building Authority(MA) <br /> invited the Town of Mashpee into the.Accelerated Repair program. Ire the first phase of the approval <br /> process,-Lhe Town was required to conduct a feasibility study, schematic design and initial cost estimates <br /> for the Quashnet School window and door replacement project. In reviewing this proposal,the scope <br /> broadened as it is a requirement of the MSBA to conduct to conduct site testing. The scope of the <br /> project then included the replacement of the EFIS sous and it was further realized the school roof was <br /> in dire need of replacement. <br /> It was noted the Quashnet School window project was identified in the Capital Deeds Assessment Study <br /> completed in 2010. The window replacement project has been included in the Capital Improvement <br /> Program Ip)unfunded since the need was identified in 2010. The window project was also prioritized <br /> in the CIP in 2017. The roof replacement is included in the CIP for funding in fiscal year 2019. <br /> It was then decided the scope of the project would be broadened to include the roof project as the <br /> preferred construction option. Permission was required by the MSBA to combine the roof project with <br /> the window, door and EFIS soffit replacement project. <br />
