Glen Harrington requested to continue discussion on Deer Crossing Unit U-1 37 to the next scheduled Board of <br /> Health meeting on February 16, 2017, when more information becomes available. <br /> Brian Baumgaertel rade a motion that the Board of Health continue the Sanitary code Violation discussion for <br /> Deer Crossing Condominium Unit H-1 37 to the next Board of Health meeting scheduled on February 16, 2017. <br /> lalliope Egloff seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously approved. <br /> 2. Asbestos violation Hearing: Lakeside Estates, Soo Nathan Ellis Highway. <br /> Brian Baumgaertel made a motion that the Beard of Health continue the Asbestos Violation Hearing for <br /> Lakeside Estates, 300 Nathan Ellis Highway, to the next Board of Health meeting scheduled on February 16, <br /> 2017. Kalliope Egloff seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously approved. <br /> ADDITIONAL TOPICS <br /> Brian Baumgaertel made a motion to add the Community Septic Lean Program Ike-Authorization Article, P-103 <br /> Deer Crossing Condominium, and the Budget Line Item to the Beard of Health agenda. KaIllope Egloff <br /> seconded the motion. The notion was unanimously approved. <br /> 1. community septic Loan Program fie-Authorization Article. <br /> Glen Harrington requested that the Board of Health make a motion to support and submit the Community <br /> Septic Loan Program Fie-Authorization Article for Town Meeting which is an annual approval. Funds cannot be <br /> leaned to repair septic systems without the program. <br /> Brian Baumgaertel rude a motion that the Board of Health support and submit the Community Septic <br /> Management Program rhe-Authorization Article for Mashpee Torn Meeting, l alliope Egloff seconded the <br /> motion. The motion was unanimously approved. <br /> 2. P-1 03 Deer crossing Condominium. <br /> Glen Harrington commented that he received an email request from Denise Anderson, Title Curative Manager <br /> of the Impac Companies. Ms. Anderson is representing Deutsche Bank, the mortgage Folder of the property <br /> located at P-103 Dear crossing Condominium, which is for sale. This unit had been cleaned up with funds <br /> issued by the Town of Mashpee. Over $40,000 was spent to conduct the clean-up of that unit. Ills. Anderson is <br /> tapes, and other fees that have accrued and only pay <br /> requesting that the Board of Health waive the interest, <br /> the principle balance. <br /> I alliope Egloff remarked that a great deal of time and effort gent into this project. $2,400 does not begin to <br /> cover the amount of effort and energy that was used. FIs. Egloff is disinclined in waiving the fees since it is not <br /> in the best interest of the Town of Mashpee associated with this case. <br /> Kalliope Egloff made a motion that the Board.of Health reject the request for the waiver for any interest, fees, <br /> or taxes associated with the clean-up lien placed on F-1 03 neer Crossing Condominium. Brian Baumgaertel <br /> seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously approved. <br /> 3. Budget Line Item. <br /> Glen Harrington stated that he reviewed the Board of Health Overtime line item of the budget. Mr. Harrington <br /> presented the Board of Health Budget given to him by the Town Manager and the FY2016 Board of Health <br /> Overtime Account to the Board members. In FY2016 it showed an original balance of$1,500, and $662 was <br /> used. This left about $boo. Seven events were chargeable by the Assistant Health Agent. <br /> Now, a little more than halfway through FY o1 ', there were seven events with two more scheduled events left <br /> to be inspected, which would be an additional 5 hours. Originally, in 2015, when the contract changed} the <br /> Assistant Health Agent was required to be paid time and a half for overtime. Mr. Harrington calculated it at <br /> $2,721, but the former Town Manager reduced it to $1,500 for FY 016. In FY o 17 F it was increased back to <br /> the original $2,721. Mr. Harrington is requesting a reduced line item amount of$1,200 instead of the $2,721 for <br /> FYg1 8. <br /> 3 <br />
