F <br /> Town of Mash e <br /> 16 Great Neck Road Noilh <br /> 1a h, <br /> c ° Mas pee, Massachusetts 02649 <br /> BOARD OF ,HEALTH - PUBLIC SESSION <br /> Minutes of the Meeting of June 1, 2017 <br /> Board Members Present: Also Present: <br /> alliope Egloff, chair Glen Harrington, Health Agent <br /> Brian Baumgaertel, clerk <br /> Chair l alliope Egloff called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM. <br /> APPOINTMENTS <br /> 7:15 PM — Request for Monitoring Reduction: Epoch Bridges at Mashpee. <br /> Glen Harrington commented that the contracted operator of the wastewater treatment unit at the Bridges at <br /> Mashpee has requested a reduction of the required sampling. The reduction is requbsted according to Section, <br /> .8 of the "Wastewater System operations, Management and compliance Agreement" that was signed by the _ <br /> Board and the cape cod commission and recorded at the Registry of Deeds. Section 2.8 stipulates that after <br /> 18 months of operation, the monthly sampling may be reduced to quarterly if the effluent results meet the <br /> required concentrations as stipulated in Section 1.1. The averages were calculated over the 18 month period <br /> for BOCK, TSS, total nitrogen and oil and grease, and all of the concentrations meet the required discharge <br /> lirnits of Section 1. 1 <br /> Brian Baumgaertel made a motion that the Board of Health approve the request for monitoring reduction for <br /> Epoch Bridges at Mashpee to reduce it from monthly to quarterly sampling for the same parameters. lalliope <br /> Egloff seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously approved. <br /> 7:20 PM — Hearing for occupant List violation — 300 Nathan Ellis Highway— MEZ Fealty. <br /> I alliope Egloff stated that discussion for the occupant list violation hearing} Soo Lathan Ellis Highway, <br /> Lakeside Estates, will be continued to the next Board of Health meeting scheduled on June 15, 2017. <br /> r <br /> 7:25 PM — Hearing for Love Water Pressure— Unit 8, 300 Nathan Ellis Hi hway— MEZ Realty,. <br /> Kalliope Egloff remarked that discussion for the low grater pressure at Unit#8, Soo Nathan Ellis Highway, <br /> Lakeside Estates, will be continued to the next-Board of Health meeting scheduled on June 15, 2017. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 1. Sign Expense Warrants. The Board members signed the expense warrants. <br /> 2. Review/Approve BOH Public Session Minutes: April 27, 2017. <br /> Brian Baumgaertel made a nation that the Board of Health approve the Public Session minutes of April 27, <br /> 017. I alliope Egloff seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously approved. <br /> . Request for 2017 Seasonal Food Service, seasonal Retail, and Tobacco Permits. country Store <br /> (259 shore Drive). <br /> Glen Harrington commented that Mr. telly has purchased the Raw Bar, the country Store and Bobs Seafood <br /> Cafe. The Board previously approved the Raver Bar as it opened earlier than the other establishments. Bob's <br /> Seafood cafe has been inspected, and all the required information has been provided; therefore, a Food <br /> 1 • <br />
