F <br /> Establishment permit can be issued to Bob's Seafood Cafe, The country store was not ready for a final <br /> inspection but will be soon. The Country store can be approved with conditions for Retail, Food Establishment, <br /> and Tobacco permits <br /> Brian Baumgaertel made a notion that the Board of Health approve the 2017 seasonal Food service, <br /> Seasonal Retail and Tobacco Permits for the Country store at'259 shore Drive with the condition that the <br /> Certified Food Manager's certificates, the menu, and the Allergy Awareness Certificates be presented prior to <br /> operation and a final satisfactory inspection be performed by ars Agent of the Board of Health prior to <br /> operation. I alliope Egloff seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously approved. <br /> 4. Request for 2017 seasonal Food service Permit: Bob's seafood caf6 (269 Shore Drive). <br /> Brian Baumgaertel made a motion that the Board of Health approve the 2017 Seasonal Food Service permit <br /> for Bob's Seafood of&. Ialliope Egloff seconded the motion. The motion was unanimously approved, <br /> 5. Request for 2017 Residential Kitchen hermit and Temporary Food Permit: chopcha ue Farm — <br /> Emma Brennan (56 Josephine Bend). <br /> I alliope Egloff commented that discussion for the request for a 2017 Residential Kitchen Permit and a <br /> Temporary Food Permit for c hopchag ue Farm, Emma Brennan, be continued to the next Board of Health <br /> meeting scheduled on dune 15, 2017. <br /> 6, Title v Variance Request: 35 slice Way. <br /> Glen Harrington remarked that a septic inspection discovered the fact that the swimming pool installed in 2004 <br /> on the property located at 35 Slice Way is 6 feet away from the existing septic tank. The leaching facility is <br /> assumed to be about 19 feet away, but there was no way to confirm it in the field due to the depth of the Boil <br /> Absorption System. Mr. Harrington informed the owner to request a variance due to the setback violation, <br /> which should be ten feet from the septic tank to the swimming pool. The Board of Health doesriot have any <br /> recourse against the pool company for violating-the setback. It is the owner's responsibility when it comes to <br /> the septic system. <br /> Brian Baumgaertel made a motion that the Board of Health approve the variance request for 35 Slice Way to <br /> allow the septic tank to be less than ten feet from the swimming pool. I alliope Egloff seconded the motion. The <br /> motion was unanimously approved. <br /> 7. Request for 2017 Retail Food Permit: alai cuisine (11 commercial Street— Rode Bros). <br /> Glen Harrington stated that the applicant is now the contracted sushi preparers for all of the Roche Bros <br /> establishments. Their corporation is out of Philadelphia, but the regional manager Martin Ho is from Quincy. <br /> The change-over of the companies occurred on Sunday Mayt 17, Apre-operation inspection on Friday <br /> before the long weekend was performed with a follow-up inspection on Tuesday after the long weekend to <br /> confirm the knowledge of the chef on the rice acidification process. In order to reader the rice not a potentially <br /> hazardous food, vinegar is used to reduce the pH to less than 4.6. The required HAACP Flan outlines the <br /> acidification process and record keeping which was reviewed, and it meets the requirements per the Food <br /> Code. The HAACP plan was followed during the on-site rice acidification process which includes calibration, <br /> storage, holding times, and record keeping. The Assistant Health Agent was impressed with the knowledge of <br /> the Chef. At this point Mr. Harrington recommends approval of the 2017 Retail and Food Establishment <br /> Permits and the Food Code Variance. <br /> 1alliope Egloff asked Brian Baumgaertel if he had any inquiries or questions. <br /> Mr. Baumgaertel replied no and that he was delighted to know the process was prepared for the Assistant <br /> Health Agent. <br /> Mr. Harrington remarked that it was quite a process and informed the.regional manager,to have the chef <br /> perform the entire rice acidification process for the inspection on Tuesday. Veronica Warden witnessed the <br /> process and believed it was very well done. <br /> 2 <br />
