Mrs. Botsford has been assigned to the Transition Committee that was formed for <br /> MassNAH O, as Tom Connelly is moving to part time doing just advocacy and a new <br /> Executive Director needs to be put in place. <br /> Mrs. Botsford met with the CPC last week. <br /> Mrs. Botsford reported that the office needs a new copier/printer/scanner. The one we have is <br /> many years old and gets a lot of use. It has been repaired twice in the past two months, some <br /> parts are no longer available, and there is now a streak going through all documents. Father than <br /> spend the money for repairs (and some are not possible) she feels it is time to replace the <br /> machine. Kenmark has the stag contract and Mrs. Botsford has selected a machine that would <br /> meet all of our needs. The proposal contains both a purchase price and a lease price. After <br /> reviewing the proposal, a motion was made by Kevin Shackett and seconded by Melissa <br /> Phillips to give Mrs. Botsford the authority to purchase or lease a new machine and <br /> negotiate for service} The motion carried* <br /> Our guest not being present, the chair went on to New Business. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> a) AUP Audit report and Response Board vote needed Mrs. Botsford had forwarded the <br /> P draft report to members in advance and shared proposed response which was read <br /> by the chair. A motion was made by Richard Halpern and seconded by Jill .Alen to <br /> approve and accept the AAP report and response. The emotion carried} <br /> b) DHCD l andatoa Board TTraini : Mrs. Botsford reviewed (and previously forwarded) <br /> 41 <br /> DH D's public Housing Notice (ITN) #2017-05 which outlines the requirement of <br /> board members to conduct on-line training by June 19, 2017. Ms. Phillips reported that <br /> she had already dome hors and it was very good. She learned new things and the training <br /> portals were easy to use. Mrs. Botsford distributed the training guides to all members. <br /> c) Tenant Board member—notices from DI—ICD: Mrs. Botsford reviewed (and previously <br /> forwarded) DH D}s Public Housing Notices (PHN) 4 2017-04 and. #2017-06 which <br /> addresses the process for Tenant Board Member Elections. PHN 2017-06 was to clarify <br /> some of the information in the first notice after the Secretary of State wanted to assist in <br /> issuing guidance. Mr. hackett's term is up this year. Mrs. Botsford has been in frequent <br /> contact with the Town Clerk regarding this matter and the Town Clerk is checking with <br /> town counsel about how to proceed, given the Town Charter. Mrs. Botsford will keep the <br /> board apprised. <br /> d) Carver Housi ig Authorlty. Mrs. Botsford reported that she had been contacted by the <br /> Bureau Director for DH D's public Housing unit, Ms. Laura Taylor, on Tuesday <br /> morning. Carver Housing Authority is considered a"troubled agency" due to recent audit <br /> reports and the executive director is leaving. ISI CD was going to be meeting with their <br /> board and wanted to suggest that they contact Mashpee Housing Authority to go in and <br /> manage the authority, at least in the interim.
