Mashpee Planning Board <br /> Minutes of Meeting <br /> June 212017 at too p.rn. <br /> Waquoit Meeting Room, Mashpee Town Hall <br /> Planning Board Members Present: Chairman Mary Wa gan, David Kooharian, Dennis <br /> Balzarini, ,doe Cummings, David Weeden, Robert(Rob)H. ansen <br /> Also: Tom Fudala-Town Planners Charles Rowley-Consulting Engineer <br /> CALL To o1DE . <br /> The Town of Mashpee Planning Board meeting was opened with a quorum in the Waquoit <br /> MeetingRoom at Mashpee Town Hall b the Chair, at 7. p.m+ on�ednesda , June 1 17. <br /> The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES .,April 20, 2017 and June 7, 2017 <br /> There was not a quorum of attending members to approve the April 20 Site visit minutes. <br /> IVIoTto Mir. Ido oha rian made a motion to accept the minutes of the April 0"' meeting <br /> of the Planning Board at the site visit. Mr. Hansen seconded the motion. 3 es5 abstain <br /> Mr. Fudala recommended changes at the bottom of page 3 to remove Board �f Selectmen erg ar�d <br /> g Pg <br /> add "Stud '� to Growth Committee. Mr. Cummings referenced a contradiction in the description <br /> of the Building p g and Special Permit Zoning Amendment but Mr. Fudala indicated that it was <br /> reflective of the Statute released by the State. <br /> MOTION: Mr. Balzarini made a motion to accept the minutes as amended. Mr. <br /> Cummings seconded the motion. 3 yes; I abstain <br /> SPECIAL PERMIT <br /> Applicant: Mashpee Commons LP <br /> Location: North of 34 Bates Road,Assessors' Map 74,Block 22 <br /> Request: Signature of Special Permit Modification for site plan change to North <br /> Market Street project to add 2 "carport structures with solar panels above 80 parking <br /> spaces in existingparking lot. (Board voted approval in 6- - <br /> Torn Ferront1 represented a.shp ee Commons regarding a modification to their peciarl Permit <br /> for North Market Street to install two carport structures for solar panels. Mr. Ferronti stated that <br /> he revi ecd the Decision, Mr. Fudala noted that the old #8 was a violation that had since been <br /> corrected. Mr. Ferronti added that Item#2 under Finding 43 had been addressed by the ape <br /> e <br /> o d o <br /> m fission v k�ich the confirmed teras satisfacto , Mr. Fudala confirmed that there was <br /> g <br /> no g <br /> Design Review meeting because the Town Clerk determined that the ons ittee had no <br /> qPlanning <br /> quorum. Mr. Ferronti noted that the Board had voted to act by the rule of necessity at <br /> the June 7 meeting, if there was no Design review meeting. <br /> MOTION:: Mr. B alzarini made a motion to approve the Decision as presented as <br /> Modification # 5. Mr. Kooharian seconded the motion. 4 yes; 2 abstain <br />= The Decision was signed b Mr. Cummings. <br /> 1 <br />
