Special Town Meeting -3- May 5, 1980 ARTICLE 13. To see if the Town will vote to transfer the sum of $1,200 from the Dog Officer Kennels Account to be applied to the Dog Officer Expense Account, or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Moved and seconded to transfer the sum of $600.00 from Dog Officers Kennels Account to Dog 0£ficermExpense Account:. Motion carried. ARTICLE 14. To see if the Town will vote to take from avail- able funds the sum of $783.00 to cover the additional cost of a four wheel drive pickup truck for the Highway Department approved by Annual Town Meeting vote May 7, 1979, Article 30, or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Moved and seconded to transfer from Highway Snow and Ice Account the sum of $783.00 Motion carried. ARTICLE 15. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from available funds a sum of money to be applied to the Police Department Wage Account, or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Moved and seconded to transfer $9,400.00 from Serg- eant & Patrolmen's Salary Account and $3,600.00 from Highway Snow and Ice Account to be applied to Police Department Wage Account. Motion carried ARTICLE 16. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from available funds a sum of money to be applied to the Fire De- partment Expense Account for the purpose of purchasing and ' equipping one new rescue boat, motor and trailer, or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Moved and seconded to transfer from the Snow and Ice Account the sum of $7,500 to be applied to the Fire Department Expense Account for the purpose of purchasing and equipping one new rescue boat, motor and trailer. Motion carried. ARTICLE 17. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from available funds a sum of money to be applied to the Fire De- partment Expense Account, or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Moved and seconded to transfer from the Highway Snow and Ice Account the sum of $8,500.00 to be applied to the Fire Department Expense Account. Motion carried. ARTICLE 18. To see if the Town will vote to accept Chapter 71, Section 71E of the Massachusetts General Laws, as amended, or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Motion made and seconded that Article 18 be accepted ' as written. Motion not carried. ARTICLE 19. To see if the Town will vote to amend the Personnel Administration Plan Salary Classification Schedule, Appendix "A,i dated April 11, 1980, a copy of which is on file with the Town Clerk, or take any other action thereon. ACTION: M8ved and seconded that Article 19 be Indefinitely Postponed. Motion carried.
