Page 6 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> May 13, 1996 <br /> NEW B INE : <br /> R=gst f r Qfle Da LY u r License.-Mashpgg ChMash r of Commtrce <br /> Second Annual Taste of Macho, <br /> Communication was received from Jamie Regan,President of the Mashpee <br /> Chamber of Commerce dated April 30, 1995 requesting the Board approve <br /> the Second Annual Taste of Mashpee on Sunday,June 9, 1995 from <br /> 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. under the Festival Tent at Mashpee Commons. <br /> The Chamber has requested the Board approve a one-day liquor license <br /> for the event as granted last year. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Costa to approve the one-day <br /> liquor license of the Mashpee Chamber of Commerce for the <br /> Second Annual Taste of Mashpee on April 30, 1995 as <br /> presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Gaffyn. <br /> VQ1E, Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> MZSR HIGH SCHOOL: <br /> Chgnze order#14.#15.#15 for ApprQv al: <br /> A r val for Additional Services-. MMA: <br /> Selectman Dinizio recommended to defer the above until the next scheduled <br /> Board Meeting. It was noted that Paul Griffin, Chairman of the High <br /> School Building Committee will be present to update the Board on the <br /> High School project. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Costa to defer the above for <br /> placement on the agenda of May 20, 1995 as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Gaffyn. <br /> YOTE:_ Unanimous. - <br /> FIMLIC DI I N: <br /> Paul Lumsden,Pirates Cove expressed concern to the condition of the <br /> Mashpee River. He indicated that the condition is worse than it was last <br /> year. Mr. Lumsden requested action to improve, and dredge the area. <br /> Mr.Whritenour indicated that the condition of the river is currently being <br /> addressed by the Coastal Resources Management.Committee. <br /> Selectman Caffyn recommended to schedule this matter as an agenda topic <br /> of discussion with the appropriate entities for further review. <br /> *Approved: Future agenda with Waterways Commission. <br />
