Page 6 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> November 4, 1996 <br /> _NEW.,BIISINES S <br /> Oversoul Theater Proclamation. <br /> Mr.Whritenour read aloud the Proclamation for the Oversoul Theater <br /> Collective, Inc., as a community-based, non-profit, multicultural arts <br /> and education organization based in Mashpee. (enclosed) <br /> Motion made by Selectman Caffyn to proclaim recognition <br /> to the Oversoul Theater Collective, Inc, as an official <br /> Cultural Arts Institution in the Town of Mashpee. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Dinizio. <br /> TE. Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Morgan J.Peters indicated that the Collective is working in cooperation <br /> with the Mashpee Leisure Services Department, and will hold its first <br /> production in February. <br /> We are the only educational theater organization on Cape Cod with <br /> certified teachers and staff informed Mr. Peters. It was noted that <br /> official recognition will enable the Collective to seek large scale grant <br /> funding opportunities. <br /> Design Review-CommitteeAppointments: <br /> Communication was received from William Hauck dated <br /> October 241, 1996 relative to letters of interest received to service <br /> the D a si gn Review Committee. <br /> Mary LeBlanc, a landscape designer,and Thomas O'Hara, a building <br /> contractor have expressed an interest in appointment. At their meeting <br /> of October 23, 1995, the Design Review Committee recommended the <br /> above candidates for appointment. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Frye to appoint; <br /> Mary LeBlanc and Thomas O'Hara <br /> to the Design Review Committee as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Caffyn, <br /> YQTE. Unanimous. 5-0. <br />
