Page 3 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> October 21, 1996 <br /> NEW,.BUSINESS: <br /> AmoinWxnt of Mini Bus Driver: <br /> Five candidates were interviewed for two part--time Mini Bus Driver <br /> positions indicated Mrs. Farren. The panel, consisting of the Personnel <br /> Board and Council on Aging Director ranked the following candidates <br /> in order of preference; <br /> 1. Richard Dube <br /> 2. Daphne Monroe <br /> 3. Deborah S aldana <br /> Through a handicap accessibility grant, a Mini Bus was purchased <br /> for the Council on Aging, one of the part-time positions will be grant <br /> funded, and the other will be funded by the Town informed <br /> Mr. Whritenour. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Marsters to appoint; <br /> Richard Dube and Daphne Monroe <br /> to the part-time position of Mini Bus Driver as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Frye. <br /> VOTE, Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> !QQMMLMCATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCEā¢ <br /> _Letter of Concern reaardina Items allowed in Town Landfill: <br /> Mr.Whritenour read aloud a memo received from Andrew and Mathilde <br /> Eliason dated August 25, 1996 relative to the placement of an unsightly <br /> Quonset Hut structure at the Town Landfill. (enclosed) <br /> In response, selectman Costa indicated that there are future plans <br /> to refurbish the structure used as a "swap shop", and directed the <br /> Executive Secretary to submit a letter to the Eliason's requesting <br /> patience until this matter is properly addressed by the Town. <br />
