MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> MEETING MINUTES <br /> FEBRUARY 13,2019 <br /> Municipal Vulnerability Program (MVP) Information <br /> Mr.Mendoza,Building Commissioner said that he met with the Town Planner,and Natural <br /> Resources Departments regarding the State Program for the Municipal Vulnerability <br /> Program. This program deals with soil erosion, road collapses due to inclement weather, <br /> etc. The departments need to file for an application and requires the support of the various <br /> Boards and Committees. Michael volunteered to speak to the Planning Board to see if they <br /> support the Town's involvement. The initial funding will enable the Town two 4 hour, or <br /> one 8 hr. workshops within the community regarding climate change, and vulnerability <br /> priorities. <br /> Completion of the workshop will open the door for specific projects, and action grants to <br /> achieve the climate vulnerability goals. Boards and committees will be supporting <br /> increased opportunity to address climate change, vulnerability state funding, and training <br /> for other grants and improvements to the Town. If the Board takes a vote, he will turn it <br /> into the Town Planner. <br /> Mr. Goldstein made a motion to approve to have the ZBA Chairman sign the letter <br /> presented by the Zoning Commissioner on(MVP)Municipal Vulnerability Program. <br /> Mr. Blaisdell seconded. <br /> Mr. Gould, yes <br /> Mr. Pittsley, yes <br /> Mr. Furbush, yes <br /> All were in favor to have the ZBA Chairman sign the MVP letter. <br /> Board to sign the Acknowledgement Receipt Form <br /> Approve January 23,2019 Meeting Minutes <br /> Sharon moved to approve the January 23, 2019 meeting minutes. <br /> Mr. Gould seconded. <br /> Mr. Pittsley, yes <br /> Mr. Goldstein, yes, <br /> Mr. Blaisdell, yes, <br /> Mr. Furbush, yes. <br /> All were in favor to approve the meeting minutes. <br /> 12 <br />
