The Finance Committee recommends Town Meeting approval by a vote of 5-0. <br /> Motion made by Selectman John Cotton. <br /> Motion: I move the Town vote to re-authorize the Historical Commission Revolving Account, <br /> through the Town Accountant, in accordance with M.G.L., Chapter 44, §53E�/z, to be expended <br /> under the direction of the Historical Commission; said account to be funded by anticipated <br /> revenues collected from the sale of books related to the history of the Town of Mashpee, which <br /> funds shall be used to further the operations of Historical Commission programs and services, <br /> and to establish the limit on expenditures from said account at$10,000 for FY 2017. <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 8:23 PM. <br /> Article 15 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer $2,544.09 from the Overlay Surplus <br /> account,to the following overlay accounts in the amounts as noted: <br /> FY 2000 $952.25 <br /> FY 2001 $949.18 <br /> FY 2002 $162.02 <br /> FY 2003 $109.80 <br /> FY 2004 $306.00 <br /> FY 2005 $ 64.84 <br /> or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Town Accountant <br /> Explanation: This transfer of overlay surplus is needed to abate outstanding real estate taxes <br /> associated with property that had been donated to the Town of Mashpee. <br /> The Board of Selectmen recommends Town Meeting approval by a vote of 5-0. <br /> The Finance Committee recommends Town Meeting approval by a vote of 5-0. <br /> Motion made by Selectman John Cahalane. <br /> 16 <br />
