<br /> At its meeting on April 1, 2015, the Planning Board voted 4-0 to recommend approval of Article 27.

<br /> Motion: I move the Town vote to accept as public ways the layouts of Jonas Drive, Valerie
<br /> Circle, and Rachelle Courts as shown on plans entitled "Road Easement Taking Plan of Jonas
<br /> Drive, Valerie Circle and Rachelle Court:, in Mashpee, MA (Barnstable County) dated May 20,
<br /> 2014, and prepared by Capesurv, which layouts shall have been filed in the Office of the Town
<br /> Clerk not later than seven days prior to the date of vote hereunder, and to authorize the Board of
<br /> Selectmen to acquire by gift, purchase, or eminent domain taking any land necessary for the
<br /> purposes of such ways as so laid out, and to appropriate the sum $322,024.50 to the Jonas Drive,
<br /> Valerie Circle and Rachelle Court Roadways Account, and to raise said appropriation the
<br /> Treasurer, with the approval of the Board of Selectmen, be authorized to borrow at one time or
<br /> from time to time, under and pursuant to Chapter 44, Section 7 or 8 or any other enabling
<br /> authority, for such purchase or taking and layout, including costs of constructing such ways and
<br /> legal financing, and other costs incidental and related thereto; and further authorize the Board of
<br /> Selectmen to assess betterments to the owners of the land abutting the ways.

<br /> To see if the Town will vote to accept as public ways the layout of Saddleback Road as shown
<br /> on plans entitled "Road Easement Taking Plan of a Portion of Saddleback Road", in Mashpee,
<br /> MA (Barnstable County) dated April 14, 2014, and prepared by Capesurv, which layouts shall
<br /> have been filed in the Office of the Town Clerk not later than seven days prior to the date of vote
<br /> hereunder, and to authorize the Board of Selectmen to acquire by gift, purchase, or eminent
<br /> domain taking any land necessary for the purposes of such ways as so laid out, and to appropriate
<br /> the sum of $178,552.50 to the Saddleback Road Roadways Account, and to raise said
<br /> appropriation, the Treasurer, with the approval of the Board of Selectmen, be authorized to
<br /> borrow at one time or, from time to time, under and pursuant to Chapter 44, Section 7 or 8 or any
<br /> other enabling authority, for such purchase or taking and layout, including costs of constructing
<br /> such ways and legal financing, and other costs incidental and related thereto; and further
<br /> authorize the Board of Selectmen to assess betterments to the owners of the land abutting the
<br /> ways, or take any other action relating thereto.
