The applicants will then complete a <br /> swim test if they pass the written test with a score of 70 or higher. There were over 15 <br /> Applicants for the Harbormaster position and this is the first step in the hiring process. <br /> Hopefully the department will hire someone for the position prior to the start of the boating <br /> season so an ample amount of training can occur. The automated mooring system is currently <br /> being set up for all moorings in Town. This will cut down on the time it takes to issue and renew <br /> moorings in the future. It will also allow the public to view waitlists in each mooring areas and <br /> to check to see if a mooring inspection is needed. <br /> DNR Director/Shellfish Constable Reports: Rick York DNR Director—There has been an <br /> incredible amount of shellfish theft within the Town over the past two months. The theft <br /> included Oysters from grant holders in Town as well as the Towns propagation program in the <br /> Mashpee River. All Oysters sold to market were from either SC16 or SC19 and citations have <br /> been issued to an individual as well as a few others I am not aware of. The Massachusetts <br /> Environmental Police along with the Department of Natural Resources have been working <br />
