The Current Article I—Board of Selectman shall be re-codified <br /> as Article II, with each successive Article and section re-codified in sequence. <br /> Article I—Miscellaneous Provisions <br /> §4-1 Residency Qualification: <br /> All members of elected Town boards, commissions, and committees must be Mashpee residents <br /> as of the date of their election and throughout their terms of office. The office of all elected <br /> officers of the Town shall be deemed to have been vacated upon removal of the elected officer <br /> from the Town. <br /> Or take any other action related thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Board of Selectmen <br /> Explanation: If approved this article will amend the General Bylaws of the Town to require all <br /> members of the Town's appointed and elected multi-member boards or committees be residents <br /> of the Town. Any member currently serving on a board or committee who is not a resident will <br /> be grandfathered until the end of their term or employment. <br /> The Board of Selectmen recommends approval by a vote of 5-0. <br /> Motion made and passed to dispense with reading of article at 8:57 PM. <br /> Finance Committee recommends approval by a vote of 7-0. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Wayne Taylor <br /> Motion: I move the Town vote to approve Article 16 as printed in the Warrant, except to add <br /> the phrase "or architects and similar licensed professionals designated for membership on the <br /> Design Review Committee and Historic District Commission," after the word "committee" in <br /> Line 4 of proposed Section 3-1, and with the exception of the phrase "or take any other action <br /> related therto". <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 8:57 PM. <br /> Article 17 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to authorize and empower the Board of Selectmen to prepare a plan <br /> laying out and defining Annawon Road, Canonchet Avenue, Crow Road, Huron Avenue, <br /> Metacom Road, Mohawk Road, Oneida Avenue, Seneca Avenue, Wamsutta Road, Wessagusset <br /> Avenue; and to accomplish said purpose and for expenses related thereto, the Town vote to <br /> 19 <br />
