Article 4 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to transfer $20,000 from the Interest Outside 2 1/2 to Temporary <br /> Borrowing Inside 2 /z, or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Treasurer/Tax Collector <br /> Explanation: Approval of this article will transfer funds from the Interest Outside Account to <br /> the Temporary Borrowing Inside Account to cover a shortfall created by Bond Anticipation <br /> Notes that came due in September 2013 but were not renewed until January 2014. <br /> The Board of Selectmen recommends approval by a vote of 5-0. <br /> Finance Committee recommends approval by a vote of 7-0. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Wayne Taylor <br /> Motion: I move the Town vote to transfer $20,000 from the Interest Outside 2 1/2 account to <br /> Temporary Borrowing Inside 2 �/z account. <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 7:14 PM. <br /> Article 5 <br /> To see if the Town will appropriate and transfer $10,000 from the Ambulance Receipts Reserved <br /> for Appropriation Account to the Fire & Rescue Expense Account, or take any other action <br /> relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Acting Fire Chief <br /> Explanation: This action will provide funding for an anticipated shortfall in the Medical <br /> Supplies line item. There has been a 15% increase in call volume for the Fire Department. <br /> These calls are largely medical related. This translates to an increase in the usage of medical <br /> disposal items with the prices of these items steadily rising. <br /> The Board of Selectmen recommends approval by a vote of 5-0. <br /> Finance Committee recommends approval by a vote of 7-0. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Carol Sherman <br /> Motion: I move the Town vote to appropriate and transfer $5,000 from the Ambulance Receipts <br /> Reserved for Appropriation Account to the Fire & Rescue Expense Account. <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 7:14 PM. <br /> 3 <br />
