Article 15 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer, pursuant to the provisions of <br /> M.G.L. Chapter 44B, §6 to reserve from the FY2012 estimated Community Preservation <br /> revenues, the following amounts; <br /> $134,988.55 10% for Historic purposes <br /> $134,988.55 10% for Affordable Community Housing purposes <br /> $1,079,908.41 To the FY2012 Community Preservation Fund <br /> Budgeted Reserve as recommended by the Community <br /> Preservation Committee, <br /> or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Community Preservation Committee <br /> Explanation: This article seeks to set aside 10% of the estimated Community Preservation <br /> Funds for Historic Resources and Affordable Community Housing purposes. <br /> *The vote of the CPC Committee was 5-3 in support of the article as presented. <br /> In opposition were Ralph Shaw, Evelyn Buschenfeldt and Mary Waygan. <br /> The Board of Selectmen recommends approval by a vote of 5-0. <br /> The Finance Committee recommends approval by a vote of 6-1. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Thomas O'Hara. <br /> Motion: I move the Town vote, pursuant to the provisions of M.G.L. Ch. 44B § 6, to reserve <br /> from the FY 2012 estimated Community Preservation revenues, $134,988.55 for affordable <br /> community housing purposes, $134,988.55 for historic resource purposes, and $1,079,908.41 to <br /> the FY 2012 Community Preservation Fund Budgeted Reserve. <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 7:44 PM. <br /> Article 16 <br /> To see if the Town will vote to appropriate and transfer $357,000 from the Community <br /> Preservation Fund, in accordance with the provisions of M.G.L., Chapter 44B, §5, for the <br /> purposes of funding the Santuit Pond Restoration Project by implementation of an artificial <br /> aeration and circulation system, including any necessary costs and expenses related thereto, as <br /> recommended by the Community Preservation Committee, or take any other action relating <br /> thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Community Preservation Act Committee <br /> Explanation: This article seeks funding from the Community Preservation Open Space Reserve <br /> to assist in the remediation and restoration of Santuit Pond by using an artificial aeration and <br /> 10 <br />
