Update: Meeting with NRCS (National Resources Conservation Service) Don Liptack re: <br /> Santuit Pond Fish Ladder issues. <br /> The Agent updated the Commissioners on the Santuit Pond Fish Ladder. He noted he met on <br /> site and reviewed the approach for a possible redesign. <br /> Update: 588 Main Street mitigation for clearing 5 acres of proposed Conservation <br /> Restriction land — LEC Environmental <br /> The Agent showed pictures of 588 Main Street where 5 acres of Conservation Restriction Land <br /> was cleared of vegetation. The Commissioners will need to sign off on a Conservation <br /> Restriction that is protecting this area in its natural state. He said after meeting with the <br /> landowners, we decided to go with a meadow restoration approach. The landowners hired <br /> LEC environmental to come up with a restoration plan which will come with a 5-year <br /> maintenance protocol. Town counsel reviewed the conservation restriction and stated the CR <br /> already has a provision allowing for amendments. When the work is completed an <br /> amendment could be added if necessary. There was a discussion on installing a fence along <br /> with signs as well as a gate. <br /> Motion: Mr. Cook moved to adjourn, seconded by Mr. Dalton.
