14 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> March 11, 2019 <br /> Discussion and Action on Draft#2 of the May 6 2019 Special and Annual Town Meeting <br /> Warrants: <br /> The Board of Selectmen continued their review of the May 6, 2019 Special and Annual Town <br /> Meeting warrants. Action was taken on Draft#2 as follows; <br /> Special Town Meeting Warrant: <br /> Article#12: CPC—Mashpee Parsonage Restoration Project - $400,000 <br /> A consideration for the required Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) <br /> is to provide safe access to the Parsonage for visitation and parking with the <br /> constraints of a difficult corner. The authorization of funding to include terms <br /> and conditions to be further specified are also intended within the perimeters the <br /> MOU between the fund recipient and Board of Selectmen. In accordance with the <br /> mandates of the article,the MOU would be mutually agreed upon prior to the <br /> release of expenditures. <br /> It was disclosed the Community Preservation Committee voted 3-2 in support of this article. <br /> Several members of the CPC had concerns regarding the funding request, the long term interest, <br /> and the ownership of the parties which include the Tribe and the Department of Interior. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Gottlieb to approve and recommend Article#12 as drafted. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane. <br /> VOTE: Motion carries. 3-2. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman Cahalane,yes Selectman Gottlieb,yes <br /> Selectman O'Hara, no Selectman Cotton, no Opposed, (2) <br /> Annual Town Meeting Warrant: <br /> Article#3: Capital Improvement Program(CIP)—HELD <br />
