*DRAFT* 8 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> March 11, 2019 <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Discussion of Retail Marijuana Host Community Agreements Recommendations: <br /> Although two host agreement applications may be forwarded to the Cannabis Control <br /> Commission,there is only one license available in the Town of Mashpee. It is the discretion of <br /> the Board of Selectmen to send (1) host agreement application to the CCC. <br /> The two host agreement applications were debated. Time constraints were considered as one <br /> applicant would be required to build a building, and the other has use of an existing structure. <br /> One is already approved by the state the other would require a new license, Traffic concerns <br /> were also considered. The Board took action as follows; <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cotton to accept and forward the Host Agreement application <br /> from TripleM; 29 & 41 Echo Road to the Cannabis Control Commission. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Gottlieb. <br /> VOTE: Motion carries. 4-1. <br /> Roll Call Vote: <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman Cahalane, yes Selectman Gottlieb,yes <br /> Selectman O'Hara, no Selectman Cotton, yes Opposed, (1) <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Discussion and Approval of the Following Temporary Sign Permits: <br /> Correspondence was received from Stephanie Coleman, Administrative Secretary dated <br /> March 7, 2019 advising the Board as a result of the new online permitting system "Permiteyes", <br /> the Town Manager/Selectmen's Office will no longer accept paper applications for Special <br /> Events, Temporary Sign Permits and other similar licenses. <br />
