He has his license <br /> from the State, He has lived in town for three years , Board asked <br /> if he knows the Town zoning laws . Mr, Collins said he gave Mr. Watson <br /> the book to study, Board asked how many hours he could work . Only <br /> as part time for now was Mr, Watson' s reply , Mr. Collins said that <br /> his Secretary, Sandy could handle the zoning, He also said all the <br /> big projects are taken care of, only small things are coming in right <br /> now. Mr. Watson said he could give two full days a week. Mr. Collins <br /> said that should be enough time to do outside inspections , He also <br /> said that Sandy could handle the office , Chm, Thomas feels this is <br /> a big responsibility for a secretary. Mr, Collins feels she is <br /> qualified. Mr. Watsons main concern is salary, Mr, Collins said <br /> what his salary is per week. Sel. Garland asked if Sandy could pre- <br /> pare an agenda for Mr. Watson to use. Board decided to leave it for <br /> now . Chm. Thomas said there is still time. Board thanked Mr, Watson <br /> for coming. <br /> 10-7. ) The letter from Rotary Liquors of Mashpee informing them of their <br /> new operating hours will be acknowledged at the regular meeting. <br /> 12-8. ) On the maintenance park position vacancy, the Board is to hold off <br /> on this , <br /> 13-9 . ) On the review of the PAP, Chm. Thomas said we should make sure we <br /> are well organized before we go in there , Executive Secretary is <br /> to set up a session in early December with Attorney Gilman and both <br /> Boards , Executive Secretary explained Holidays for the contract. <br /> He also said great clarification should be expanded to all contracts , <br /> 14-10 . ) Board discussed audit for 1983 . Executive Secretary explained that <br /> he would like to prepare a request for proposal that would be sent <br /> to four or six firms , including DiPesa, He has no complaints about <br /> DiPesa who has done the audit for the past four years . He feels <br /> it is an advantage to have a different firm look at our books . <br /> Board agreed and gave permission, Executive Secretary is to pursue <br /> this ' matter. <br /> 15-12 . ) Executive Secretary said the Public Works Committee is very active . <br /> They meet every Monday night. He said they had to amend the language <br /> to satisfy the Labor Board. The meeting went well.
