Marie Stevenson, Katherine Brown, Gail Wilson, Lynne Waterman, JoAnn <br /> Nadeau, Winnie Johnson-Graham, Louis Horner, Elana Doyle, Patty DeBoer <br /> Also Present: Kim Landry-Affirmative Action Officer, John Cotton-Selectman Liaison <br /> Absent: Xavier Gonsalves (Non-Voting McOmber) <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> The meeting was called to order by Chairwoman Stevenson at 10:00 a.m. with a quorum. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES December 11, 2018 & January 8, 2019 <br /> MOTION: Ms. Waterman made a motion to accept the December 11 minutes as written. Ms. <br /> Wilson seconded the motion. All voted unanimously. <br /> MOTION: Ms.Wilson made a motion to approve the January 811' minutes. Ms. Nadeau <br /> seconded the motion. All voted unanimously. <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> None at this time <br /> COMMUNICATIONS & CORRESPONDENCE <br /> Tim McNamara,Holistic Health Group-The Chair reported that she had been in receipt of a <br /> letter from Mashpee resident, Tim McNamara, regarding an organization applying for recreational <br /> marijuana. Mr. McNamara asked to speak with the Committee but the Chair had responded that the <br /> Committee was still identifying its role but that his letter would be shared with the Committee and <br /> Town Manager. The Town Manager would be drafting a response for the Chair to use in response to <br /> Mr. McNamara. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> Question Format for Future Speakers-The Chair reported that she made revisions to the <br /> question format, as recommended by Ms. Waterman. The Chair distributed copies of the updated letter <br /> and read the letter for the record. There was consensus from the Committee supporting the letter. <br /> Current Projects <br /> Veterans Parking-Mr. Horner reported that he would be attending a meeting with the <br /> Town Manager at 10 am on Thursday. Ms. Landry would also be in attendance. There was support <br /> from the Committee to move forward, based on prior vote. Selectman Cotton stated that the Town <br /> Manager would advise how best to move forward. The Chair suggested that the Committee be advised <br /> if the matter would be heard by the Board of Selectmen so that other Committee members could attend <br /> and show their support. <br /> Child Care for Town Meeting-Ms. Doyle, also a member of the Cape Cod Young <br /> Professionals Public Policy Committee with the Town Planner, reported that they were also <br /> considering childcare issues. Mr. Lehrer provided the Enterprise article to that Committee, who were <br />
