Ms. Thayer proposed an FY 20 budget, as per attached and as follows: <br /> $413,718 Mashpee TV <br /> $ 1,980 Comcast ($165/month) <br /> $ 9,300 OpenCape ($775/month) <br /> $ 600 OpenCape (misc. expenses) <br /> $ 2,000 S. Farrel (2 meetings @ $835 each) <br /> $ 4,500 OpenCape monthly (renting space for server co-location $375/month) <br /> $ 1,000 Board Secretary costs <br /> $ 50,000 Capital <br /> $ 15,000 Misc. unanticipated expenses <br /> $498,098 FY 20 Total estimated costs <br /> Motion: Mr. Eliason moved to approve the FY20 MCAT Budget, seconded by Ms. McCray. <br /> Vote In favor: Riley, Eliason, McCray Against: None <br /> Motion Passes 3-0 <br /> S. Mashpee Community Television updates, if any <br /> Mr. Nay has great concern about the future Comcast contract, the Federal Communications <br /> Commission and the decline in revenue.The High School studio is doing well and hope to do more. <br /> Mr. Eliason asked that there be more live streaming as well as broadcast on MTV.com and Channel <br /> 18. He also would like to see more on the "Meeting Archives" on the Town website. Nay stated that <br /> they are on You Tube Live, Facebook Live and in the meeting archives on the Town website, to which <br /> Mr. Eliason said there is progress then. <br /> 6. IT Director David DelVecchio report on IT updates and request for funding. <br /> Mr. DelVecchio presented a request to replace and upgrade the projectors in the Waquoit Meeting <br /> Room in Town Hall the quote is from Ockers Company that is on the State Bid list. The total quote is <br /> for $13,241 (quote attached). The projectors currently were installed in 2008 and replacement is <br /> needed. Mr. Eliason asked if the proposed ones are high definition, to which Mr. DelVecchio <br /> responded yes. Mr. DelVecchio was queried by Mr. Eliason if the Town had ever used this vendor. <br /> The IT Director said he had not but the School Department has. Mr. Riley questioned whether there <br /> are enough funds in the PEG access account to cover this expenditure, to which the Finance Director <br /> replied yes (see attached documents). Assistant Town Manager Taylor stated that it is important to <br /> do this upgrade and be able to broadcast in HD. <br /> Motion: Mr. Eliason moved to approve the expenditure as presented ($13,241-Ockers Company) <br /> to upgrade the projectors in the Waquoit Meeting Room in Mashpee Town Hall, seconded by Ms. <br /> McCray. <br /> Vote In favor: Riley, Eliason, McCray Against: None <br /> Motion Passes 3-0 <br />
