Sewer Commision:Nothing to report <br /> Barnstable County Coastal Resources[update:A[Wicket imported that Rick York has leen <br /> nominated-to be Mashpee's alternate to theBCCRC.At also reported on the Cape Cod water <br /> esouwxs Restoradon Project,a Federal, State and local 30 million ten year project for <br /> salt mars, spawning babitat,shellfish bed water quality restorationirnnprovernent. <br /> One of these,the Mashpee Shoestring Bay storm water remediation project has been <br /> completed.Parking issues were compounded with road Widening project-for pedestrian <br /> and bile path removing parking from west side of road. Delays in boat launch and <br /> retrieval are extensive on weekends. Commercial activities(kayak business)add to the <br /> frustrations. Sevaal commercial fishermen complained to DPW chief over accessibility. <br /> Santt Pond darn and fish ladder restorationproject received an-extension. <br /> Design plans are-50%completed and project completion is estimated for June 2013. <br /> Solarbee activity.on Santuit fond seems to be having some positive effects. <br /> Increased visibilities and reduced toxic algae blooms have been noticed,however bacteria <br /> counts have been recorded at higher then normal levels.
