It was noted that it was likely fliat the Project <br /> would not have been completed on time without his efforts. <br /> . <br /> A.notion by Perry Elfis,2 Bill Taylor to approve the invoice from the le' <br /> County Dredge for the amount not to exceed the Contract Amount of$70,000 for the <br /> Popp'onesset Project was usly approved. <br /> New Business <br /> Lt Read Mashpee Pofice Department presented the Budget for the Harbormaster <br /> Department for funds needed to maintain,the Mashpee Waterways.in ludin equipment <br /> g men <br /> p <br /> boat rcpairs and maintenance, and gear Mn the amount of$15,000. Aber a series of <br /> quest ons the budget was �approved.roved. It was noted that Lt Rcad had no <br /> dollar amount in the Waterways Assistants salaries.and wages line item. The sum of <br /> $17,419.00 was reported to be the amount Chief Collins requested of the BOS for the <br /> Salaries and wages line item. The Mashpee Waterways Commission VOTED <br /> unan ously: The Mashpee Waterways Commission supports the Chiefs request for <br /> Waterways Assistants compensation as requested <br /> The Mashpee Waterways Commi cion voted motion by Perry Ellis,2dPaul nmitto <br /> and unanimously approved: The B S draft of an article for the upcommg May 2011 <br /> 'four Meeting to cover 5000 CIY of sediment to be dredged from the Popponesset Bay <br /> Appromh Channel for no is ent our permit approved disposal area. This would <br /> constitute a long haul dredge at a cost of$11.00 C o $55,,000. The monies should be <br /> transferred from the Waterways hnprove meat Fund Account to the Waterways <br /> Ma.inte=ce Account for this purpose. After discussion and questions,a motion was made -Steve Pard, <br /> seconded by Pad Zammitto to recommend to the BS that the regulations he approved. <br /> This was unanimously passed. <br /> Old Business <br /> Richard Cook next presented a revised plan for location of his application for a new <br /> Aquaculture Project, for Oystermin ,year round that he plans to seep approval from <br /> the BS for a GRANT to do s . Perry Alis confirmed the positioning of the farm area <br /> and drew this plan,with boundaries and positioning on sheet NUMBER JI 1111,which <br /> was submitted to the Commission to support his rewmmeadations.
