Pla, s are being considered for an open meeting for <br /> presenting the results oflast years test. Returning volunteers has been strong, with all the <br /> Bay Boat Captains in place. wa lu it Bay Manager John west, and Popponesset Bay <br /> Manager Al Wickel are ready to go. <br /> Barnstable County Coastal Resources Committee Update: none <br /> Waterways Improvement Flan and Dredging: Iden Bates reported that major <br /> activities are complete for this season, and dredge plans are ongoing for 2011-2012 <br /> perro . <br /> Steve Pinard then led a discussion regarding budget planning and possible goal <br /> setting for the next five year period for the Commission. It was emphasized that man <br /> projects and ideas are often floated, however limited manpower and time availability <br /> required some thinking as to how ideas should be prioritized and"staffed" with a member <br /> responsible for each project being considered. <br /> i 1t was agreed that the following projects were worth additional effort. Each group would <br /> e responsible for investigating needed details and bring to each meeting updates. Once <br /> all important details were uncovered, the Commission would be able to determine which <br /> projects were worthy of presentation to the Board of Selectmen for consideration. <br /> Projects being considered: <br /> -Water Quality Test Program.Management-Steve Pinard./Paul Zammitto <br /> -Navigational Aids-Steve Pinard <br /> -Mashpee Fiver Entrance Dredging: -Ken Bates, Al Wickel, Bill Taylor <br /> -Mashpee Neck Improvements-Tim L dharn Paul Zammitto <br /> -Creat Fiver-10 acre site- l Wic el/Perry Ellis/(Ken Bates) <br /> - clay Bay-Ken atestld <br /> Old Business <br /> motion to confirm last meetings approval of payment of an imv ice t <br /> Barnstable County Dredge in the amount of$55,000, for dredging ofthe Popponesset <br /> Outer Charnel was made by Bill Taylor/ seconded by Steve Pinard, and unanimously <br /> approved <br /> Letters from Steve Pinard and Bill Taylor were received regarding their desire to serve <br /> another 3 year Term on the Co=issi n.
