Sewer Commission Advisory Committee: Al Wickel reported that there was nothing new <br /> to report. <br /> Barnstable Count Coastal Resource Committee; Al wickel reported that there was some <br /> effort being made by the Town, DPW and Rick k York to bring to the BCCRC the <br /> information needed to elevate the repair needs for the S ntuit Pond fish ladder and <br /> surrounding structures as well as the road leading to the site. A recent visit to the pond <br /> revealed a healthy fish population (Herring) and we are hoping for expanded parameters <br /> to the grant initiatives that would permit these repairs. <br /> Public Access-., Al wicpel reported that the Town web site was being updated with <br /> Commission member information but that the process to update the same web site with <br /> documented public access locations was being worked. IT limitations and <br /> ownership/responsibility as well as financial responsibility for the new overlays were <br /> being looped into. <br /> i <br /> Water Quality: Steve Pinard reports everything is "good to o" for the first outing on the <br /> 15th of July. <br /> Town New Permits for Dredging: Chairman Bates introduced Mir. Sullivan and Mr. <br /> Kelly of Applied Coastal Engineering and they briefed the commission on the status of <br /> their efforts in preparing the permits for the Town and the 1916 Popponesset Bay <br /> Channel.Notice of Intent filings had been filed. Endangered species filings were moving <br /> forward. Some delays had occurred in preparing the fill placement areas, but a template <br /> was in place and the process was moving forward. The guests reported that they would be <br /> attending both the Mashpec and Barnstable Conservation meetings corning up in the first <br /> weeps of August. Data reports were available through the Town Manager's office. It was <br /> estimated that just less than 10,0 00 cubic yards of material world be removed and placed <br /> in the designated replenishment areas. Siv analysis and grain sizes were good. Scheduling <br /> concerns and County Dredge participation were discussed. The next steps included <br /> dealings with the Army Corps of Engineers were continuing. <br /> Old Business: lone <br /> New Business; Chairman Bates introduced Drew McManus who discussed some of the <br /> upcoming changes during a review of Town regulation#27 dealing with docks, piers and <br /> floats. Mr. McManus was seeping inputs, and suggestions if any to the changes. <br /> Motion to approve payment to Applied Coastal Engineering for $2820.00 for work <br /> accomplished under Phase one was made by Perry Ellis, second by Al wicpel, <br /> unanimously approved. <br /> CORRESPONDENCE: N A <br />
