Water Quality: Steve Pinard reported that the Mashpee water Quality Test Team will be holding <br /> a final Spring meeting of all volunteers on Tuesday,June 9,h. Approximately 25 volunteers are expected <br /> along with a team of Trainers froth SMAST. Final details will be discussed, including Boat Crew <br /> Assignments,and an extensive Sampling Procedure Training for all. The first Test Day is scheduled t b <br /> July 1 . <br /> Public Access:No report <br /> New Business: Ken s reported on the meeting held on the P pp asset Spit with_persons and <br /> officials involved with the installation and evaluation of the use of Sand Drift Fencing this coring Fall. <br /> One section of fencing will be installed and monitored. <br /> Tim L edham reported that information published in some newspapers detailed the extent of Federal <br /> Stimulus monies being made available to the Army Corp of Engineers,earmarked for dredging needs in <br /> shallow water areas along the Bast Coast. Tien Needham.suggested that the Commission look into the <br /> established Process that M shp e needs to follow to be included in needed local dredge projects that might <br /> qualify for Stimulus Funding.
