'Where is information that comes to the Commission that has to be
moved along rapidly(see two motions from previous meeting)and cannot wait for the next board meeting.
It is 0 K for the Chairman or the commission member standing in for him in his absence)to conduct a
consensus poll of the members on an action that has to take place. That consensus action will be followed
up at the next meeting with a formai vote.
Public Access:Al Wickel reported good progress being made with the Harbor Master-and the
Town Planning office in capturing the data that supports many vital public access locations throughout the
Town.Historical information shows where the Town Planning Board had negotiated with subdivision
developments and established easements.for parting and public access to town waters for fishing. These
conservation restrictions will be posted with the help of Tom Mayo in the planning office and a map will be
trade available to all residents of Mashpee and information will eventually be added to the Town"s web site
for review.Meetings with the Town's Conservation office were fruitful and farther greetings will help in
the compiling of information to add to this data collection.
New Business: Town historical information was being made available from information releases
concerning dredge efforts from early 1900's.More to follow on this as the information gets reviewed.
There was a phone call showing interest in the vacated position on the Waterways Commission, but no
written letters of interest received yet.
Correspondence; None
motion to adjourn at 1 :0' Ali,was made by Steve Pinard, seconded by Al wicket and unanimously
approved.
NEXT MEETING WILL BE TUESDAY,,NOVEMBER 10th,at 9:00 AM
MEETING ROOM#3 AT THE TOWN HALL
A4
