Perm Ellis attempted to reach Bill McKay, a resident who-a l ed for an <br /> opportunity to discuss some recommendations for navigation however Mr McKay was <br /> away . He did not attend the meeting. <br /> 1. Correspondence: <br /> Iden Bates read a Later of Designation from Paul Lumsden <br /> effective immediately. It was noted that Paul Lumsden has a record of strong, long <br /> standing involvement as a member of the waterway Commission and he will be sorely <br /> missed. Ken Bates will request a "Certificate of Achievement"be sent to Paul Lumsden <br /> by the Board of Selectmen and Mr. Bates will prepare a letter thanking Paul Lumsden for <br /> his work and recognizing his contribution. <br /> Iden Bates noted that sand dune erosion at the road end of <br /> Starboard Lane . (a recent renourishment project at this location) resulted in removal of <br /> the snow fend has not been replaced. with the fence not in place children are rolling <br /> down the embankment. Ken Bates will notify the Conservation Committee of this <br /> condition. <br /> A Motion to adjourn was made at 10:00 All by Tire Leedh m, seconded by Steve <br /> Pinard, and unanimously approved.. <br /> NEXT MEETfNG WILL BE AT 9 AM, TUESDAY, OCTOBER 14, 2008 <br /> C. <br /> 1� <br /> - 3 - <br />
