y County Dredge Advisory Meeting—William Taylor-Bill reported that there was no meeting WaterwaysBy-laws and Regulations—Jim Hanks -Jing reported here are no changes Water Quality Update—Jim Hanks The contract for water sampling is in the queue to be processed. There was a meeting of the Pilot Project where Lealdon Langley, Director of wetlands and Waterways Program, spoke regarding pernitting issues pertaining to mitigating water duality problems. Ed Baker brought up the fact that the table that prohibited sidecasting of anything but good clean sand is gone from the-proposed changes to 314CMR9. He also proposed restoring fringing wetlands as a means of disposing of the Mashpee River dredged material and improving water quality. . It is possible that some modeling runs will be made as part of the Pilot Project to assess the impact on water quality by such action.
