Harbormaster Report - Perry Ellis. <br /> Perry reported he is getting a new Harbormaster boat, a 22-foot <br /> Blue Fin that has a dry weight of 3000 lbs. , and a 150 <br /> Horsepower Mercury Engine. The Eastern will bedome a world oat, <br /> of the navigation aids and other gear are in. They are <br /> working with Bosun' s Marine to provide pumpout service in <br /> Popponesset Bay. He has also been interviewing potential new- <br /> Pippo for Waterways Assistants and hired two, a retired- fireman <br /> and a Coast Guard reservist. Also, he is asking Jack Shepard ; f <br /> the Public Access Board for "no swimming" signs to put -ext to <br /> the I ashpee Wakeby boat ramp. <br /> 2 . shellfish Constable Report - Rick York. <br /> Rick reported that it has been a cold. Spring and that the <br /> shellfish didn' t spawn until last week and the larvae h , e <br /> taken a good set. The crab population is down. As for Water <br /> duality he reported that Mashpee River and shoe string Bair are <br /> closed, but there are clams available in the rest of the Bay. <br /> He has had a problem with his Dissolved solved oxygen Deter, and i <br /> trying to get a new "probe" that can be left in the ua±2ar to <br /> take Dissolved. oxygen, Salinity and Temperature. <br /> .
