Public Comment: Ed Baker mentioned that Article 22, an advisory article,passed at Town <br /> Meeting and raised the question of what was to happen nest, A. lengthy discussion of how the <br /> two dredging articles were handled at Town Meeting ensued, Jim Harks stated his intent was t <br /> talk with the Tribal Council and see *f the issues could be resolved. <br /> 2. Review of Minutes—The nunutes from 7 October 2043 were previewed. Bill Taylor moved <br /> they be accepted as written,,ferry Daly seconded the motion. The motion carried <br /> unanimously. <br /> i <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1. Harr -Perry Ellis was unable to make the meeting, so no report <br /> was given. Rick reported that the navigation aids had been removed and winter sticks installed <br /> and that the lake boats were out, but the saltwater boats were stili in. <br /> I. h l l —Ri k Ygrk ^ Rick reported that the State Division of Marne <br /> Fisheries opened some of the Marinas for shell shing with the exception of Mashpee Neck <br /> Marina which is a closed area of Shoestring Bay. Rick plans to do a shellfish survey and <br /> continue propagation. They planted 2 million Quahogs funded by the County and planted b <br /> Ameriorps,and one million Scallop seed that are still in trays Will be planted. As for water <br /> quality,the last sampling,which was after an inch of rain, showed bad readings in the <br /> Popponesset Bay area. waquoit Bay was clean with the exception of the northern Hamblin <br /> Pond.area. <br /> Pagel of <br />
