Ed Baker <br /> presented Mashpee Enviromment l Coalition material, They also discussed the newsletter <br /> that they hope to put out in the spring. <br /> Mashpee Wakeby Lake Enforcement Issues—None discussed. <br /> opponesset Bay--Herb elver <br /> Jerry Daly reported that he had been out and that there were very few boats still in the <br /> water. <br /> waquoit Bay—Jim Hanks <br /> Jim reported that over the weekend there had been quite a bit of boat traffic in Great River, <br /> but he had not been out into the Bay. <br /> County Dredge Advisory Meeting—William 'Taylor <br /> Bill reported that no meeting was held. <br /> WaterwaysBy-laws and Regulations—Jim Hanks <br /> There was no activity. <br /> Water Quality Update—Jinn Hanks <br /> Jim Hanks reported that water quality efforts are dormant at this time of the season, and he <br /> has no word from Brian Howes regarding his final report. <br /> . Sewer Commission Citizens Advisory Committee—Paul Lumsden <br /> "here was no meeting held during the past month. <br /> .hamstable Co= coastal Resources Committee Update—Gerald dal <br /> .ferry reported that he had heard nothing from that Committee. <br /> 6. WaterwaImprovement Flan and Dredging Permits—Jim Hanks <br /> 1 lashpee River Dredge Permits Conservation Land Issue-Jim Hanks reported that he had <br /> talked at length with John.Swartzbaugh about what went on in Town Meeting,and he also <br /> talked to Dave Levllle who was surprised at the opposition. He also said he thought the next <br /> step was to put together the alternatives,put a realistic prig tag on each and bring it before the <br /> voters. Jim said he is leaning toward making with the Tribal Council and the Greenwood <br /> people to see if we can stmighten out their concerns, and if not,then put the list of alternatives <br /> up to a vote. He added that he had spoken with Chuckle Green and asked him what <br /> happened. He learned that someone had called the Tribal Council and raised a number of <br /> questions and concerns,and since they did not know any of the answers they put together the <br /> opposition. Jim suggested to Chuckle that he and Chuckie go talk to the tribe. Chuckle said <br /> he was planning to anyway, so Chuckle and Jim will try to set that meeting up. <br /> Page 2 of <br />
