F; . Shellfish Constable Report—Rick York -Rick York reported the following: . The ice currently is one foot thick in Popponeset Bay. . Water duality presently is good, since the cold has killed the colfiform. c. There is a big problem with seaweed in Waquoit Bay. The bottom of the bay is still coated with seaweed that could smother shellfish in the flats on the east side of Waq oit Bay. He noted that the seaweed also is inPopponesset Bay and the Mashpee River. Rick said this will be a recurring problem and recalled that a fast warm up In the weather this year could lead again to seaweed coming to the top of the water like last.Tune in W luoit Bay. County Dredge Advilsory Meeting—William Taylor Bill reported that no meeting was held. He also noted that 8,000 feet ofbooster pipe from the country dredge is still stuck in the ice in Chatham.
