Blair <br /> Mr. G. Crowell Mr. F.: Homeyer <br /> Mr. Mates was absent due to business. <br /> 1. Letters to Barnstable and Falmouth Waterways Committee Che�rman. <br /> The letters dictated and tyged at the previous meeting were mailed <br /> to Mr. Fitch but, at the wrong address. 4; <br /> Mr. Fitch stated he will pick them up today and send them out. <br /> 2. Invitation to Mashpee's Harbor Master. <br /> It was requested and all members agreed, that the Mashpee Harbor Master <br /> be invited to sit at a meeting in the near future. <br /> x <br /> 3. Main object for Selectmen. <br /> The main object is to keep the Mashpee Board of Selectmen well informed. <br /> of whatever is being planned and done by the Waterways ;Committee.; Also, <br /> any existing problems in the Mashpee Waterways. <br /> 4. Mashpee Waterways Committee's Budget. t <br /> Mr. Frank Homeyer, Mr. James Bain and Mr. Gordon Crowell hada meeting All <br /> "f <br /> at Mr. Bain's resident to discuss the moneys needed for...the budget''of <br /> 1974. Ya <br /> Two,articlos.were written and than Mr. Bain.,and,Ms Homeyer'me't`end <br /> " discussed .the budget with the Selectmen and 'tha Finance".Committee: vr <br /> Mr. Bain stated that some of the needed signs could probably be. made at <br /> the Highway Department as they ,have--thi- quipment to do such.`This would < � •^' <br /> be at a reasonable price. <br /> These Articles will be approved ,only if moneys are available to be trans- s <br /> ferred for this purpose. If no moneys are availab:.fin for;such, 4he 'Articles " <br /> will have to be re-submitted at the regular Town Meeting in May.. <br /> A written report with budget specification was sent to- the Selectmen and <br /> the Finance Committee. <br /> The Articles are to be presented. at the Town Special Meeting on Jan. 16. Responsibility of Mashpee Waterway's Committee. <br /> Mr. , Bain and Mr. Homeyer also checked pertaining to the�reNpons161lities : <br /> for the Park and Recreational Department. The Selectmen'assured 'the' Water " <br /> ways Committee Members that any waters are not the responsibility of_the.; ` ¢ <br /> Parks and Recreational Department. The Park and Recreational Department's <br /> responsibilities stop at the edge of the"water therefore, all'watere are <br /> the Waterways Committee's responsibilities. <br /> �, y <br />
