CRMC Meetings Report to the Waterways Commission - 7 February 1995
The second meeting of the CRMC opened at approximately 3:00 P.M. on 24
January, Chairman P. Ellis presiding.
Tom Fudala reminded members that each organization had to formally notify the
Town Clerk(by letter) who was appointed as member.
We resumed discussion of the Coastal Resources Element of the Local
Comprehensive Plan. We covered Policies 1 through 23. Details will be available in the
minutes.
The third meeting convened at 3:00 PM on January 31. We reviewed the remaining
Policies.
Although we reached general agreement on each policy, some are to be re-written, so
we have not really approved the element per se. No vote was taken approving the
document after the line by line review.
My main objections remain concerning the review process timing and the document
complexity.
As a side note, as of the 31st, the Town Clerks office had not received any letters of
appointment.
f The next meeting is expected to be an evening meeting; the daze is yet to be
determined, but may be the 4th Thursday of the month.
James P. Hanks
Waterways Commission Rep to the CRMC
