an update on the ski jump and mini slalom course. Present were <br /> George Ryan (President) , Marc DelTerg , and Jack O' Halloran. <br /> They amended their proposal for the use of a water- ski jump <br /> and ACCU-SINK submergeable slalom course, and they submitted <br /> a petition signed by the adjacent abutters to the proposed slalom <br /> course site. The time request has been amended to weekdays <br /> from : 00 p,m. to 7 : 00 p.m. ( 15 hrs. per week, no weekends nor <br /> holidays ) . The Jump wi li be towed to a mooring in front of <br /> the Ryan property and s tred. on the beach when not in use ft <br /> motion was made, seconded, and unanimously voted in favor <br /> that waterways has reviewed the Ski Jump proposal in depth and <br /> recommends approval to the Selectmen. Dr. Gordon will talk <br /> to the Harbormaster re: the mooring prior to taking any action. <br /> Mr. -DelTergo mentioned that they plan to have a water ski badge <br /> program for the Bohr Scouts, and they may have a water ski <br /> tournament as part of the 125th celebration. Dr. Gordon, asked <br /> that they do not schedule their event during the same time as <br /> the boat parade. <br /> The review of the submitted May Town Meeting Bir-Law Articles <br /> was tabled until the Harbormaster is present. <br /> Mr. Hanks reported on the Coastal Resources Management Committee <br /> meeting that was held on February 23 , 1395 . There was no quorum <br /> and therefore no action taken. Some of the issues discussed <br /> were: CRMO Powers and Duties; two-foot dune restoration at <br /> Town Death; south Cape Beach update; we are getting a new State <br /> parking lot and handicap ramp; Popponesset remedial plan has <br /> been tabled until the next meeting; storm runoff sub committee <br /> has been formed; Coastal Resource info data base is in progress ; <br /> boat sewage -pump out facilities aro in process with grant funding <br /> from State; stairway at wading Place was requested by caner <br /> affrn, Mr. Taylor views problem as protecting hank with <br /> vegetation, Public Access Board opinion was recommended. In <br /> conclusion, there are problems with this Committee achieving <br /> a quorum (nine members present are needed) . <br /> meeting with the Public Access Board included Prrr Ellis , <br /> Ben Gordon, 'Jack ' hephe rd, and Douce Cameron and discussion and <br /> agreement occurred re: fishing tournaments and permit <br /> acquisition. <br /> Review of waterfront Public Access Properties : Dr. Gordon asked <br /> Mr. Ellis to look into this , and the result was a snap marking <br /> town properties which can be used for parking lots. Dr. Gordon <br /> will ask Mr. Ellis to discuss this with the Commission when <br /> e returns. <br /> Harbormaster Deport was given by Mr. Hanks as follows : <br /> The Eastern is in the water at Little liver Boat Yard.
