Waquoit Day: Mr. Fordham stated activity is starting to occur. <br /> Dock Permit Review: Mr. Ellis reported that the Whiteman dock <br /> permit request in Little River has been referred to the hoard <br /> of Appeals . The status on the dock in Jehu Pond is that is <br /> was reconfigured and will extend off an eel grass bed, Mr. <br /> Silver asked about a dock in Ann' s Cove next to Donnie Ferriday ' s <br /> house, and Mr. Ellis stated that a seasonal. 10A float and rapt <br /> were installed which must be pulled a-nd stored in the winter, <br /> Old Business:- Dr. Gordon stated that there are four applicants <br /> for the one opening on our omission: Russell Frazier, Jerome <br /> E. Clair, William E. Rowland, and Debbie Regan.. Waterways <br /> reorganizes each June, and this will be followed up at the next <br /> meeting. <br /> Dr, Gordon suggested that the following be included in upcoming <br /> projects for Waterways: <br /> l Evaluate dredging needs and formulate a list to submit for <br /> permits along with filled out County forms, Mr. Hanks <br /> volunteered to assemble the information; Mr. Silver will work <br /> on Poponesset. The goal is to get -the permits in place for <br /> dredging; Michael Groetzke will be contacted to assist in this. <br /> Mr. Ellis noted that the Audubon will take the spoils from the <br /> spit dredging. (Audubon owns the tip of the spit ) . <br /> To establish joint permitting for docks involving input <br /> from Con Comm, Waterways , Shellfish, and Board of Appeals. <br /> Mr* Ellis stated that Con Comm is presently working on this. <br /> Acquiring a new building for the Harbormaster along with <br /> a garage on a gator front location. <br /> Dr, Gordon -asked for any additions and/or eliminations to this <br /> list; there were none and all agreed with it. <br /> Nor. Ellis requested that- metal signs be used on John' s Pond <br /> and Mas ee Waa Pena re: ski times, etc, A motion was made,. <br /> seconded, aired unanimously voted to request $500 be used to supply <br /> signs for the above. Source of funding is the Waterways <br /> improvement Fund. <br /> Mr. Silver brought up the 125th Anni ersary Parade; he will <br /> contact Bob May re: the new Monday right meeting change. <br /> The meeting adjourned at 9 : 15 p.m. <br /> Mary Celthore, Board Secretary <br /> -3- <br />
