h <br /> w <br /> Town Hall Building Committee <br /> Minutes <br /> July 29, 1997 <br /> Present: Jim Vaccaro, Ray Martini, Charles Buckingham, Bob Fox <br /> Executive Secretary Robert Whritenour <br /> Assistant to the Executive Secretary Joyce Mason <br /> Guests: Roger Hoit - Strekalovsky and Hoit, Inc. <br /> Bill Hauck- Inspector of Buildings <br /> Cynthia Sturges - Community Development Administrator <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Vaccaro at 2:30 P.M. <br /> Town Hall, Meeting Room #1. <br /> MINUTES: <br /> Tuesday, July 22. 1997: <br /> Motion made by Mr. Buckingham to approve the minutes of <br /> Tuesday,July 22, 1997 as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Mr. Martini. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> TOWN HAIL CONSTRUCTION PROJECT REVIEW <br /> The Town Hall Building Committee met with Roger Hoit, the <br /> Project Architect of the Town Hall renovation/restoration project <br /> to review the summary of incomplete items relative to satisfactory <br /> and substantial project completion. <br /> The Committee reviewed the itemized list of incomplete action items <br /> and punch list items as specified in the memorandum dated <br /> Wednesday,July 2, 1997. (enclosed) <br /> Mr. Hoit indicated that he will schedule a walk-though next week <br /> with the HVAC engineer, and employ the services of an independent <br /> engineer to review the installation, calculations and design of the HVAC <br /> system. <br /> Mr. Whritenour related concerns with respect to theinstallationand <br /> present operation of the HVAC system. He recommended that the <br /> one year warranty take effect at the point of satisfactory operational <br /> use and procedure. <br />
