The General Contractor did underpin the footing and concrete wall at <br /> the stairway but was directed by our office not to undermine the rest of the <br /> footing area at the existing foundation wall thereby raising the level of the floor <br /> elevation. We will discuss options to change this condition in a separate letter <br /> to the Mashpee Town Hall Building Committee. <br /> Item 6 - Elevator Pit <br /> The elevator pit has been installed in accordance with the elevator code and has <br /> been approved for use by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Elevator <br /> Inspector. <br /> Item 7 - Assembly Room Emergency Lighting <br /> Three battery operated emergency lighting units will be installed in each of the <br /> three sections of the partitioned meeting room.b <br /> Item 8 - Data Processing Office -Ventilation <br /> Data processing office has been supplied with 40 CFM of outside air as <br /> required in the Massachusetts Building Code. <br /> Item 9 - Computer Room-HVAC Design <br /> The Computer Room has a separate HVAC unit which provides full time <br /> heating or cooling as required by acceptable emergency practices. <br /> Item 10 - Computer Room-Ventilation Air <br /> The Computer Room was not designed as an occupied space and therefore does <br /> not require fresh air ventilation. <br /> Iter, t t - Air Infiltration around Doors and Windows <br /> The General Contractor has addressed air infiltration around the doors and <br /> windows as a part of the punch list and phase 2 exterior contract completion <br /> work. <br /> Item 12 -Floor Loading <br /> Floor loading of 100 p.s.f. was designed and provided in specific floor areas in <br /> the Assessor's Office, the Treasurer's Office and Tax Collector's Office.
