REPORT OF,THE ARCHrMCT: Roger Holt,Project Architect for the Town Hall renovation restoration project was present to discuss the construction progress with members of the Town Hall Building Committee, Greg'Taylor,Director of Public works presented a proposal to the Committee relative to the enhancement of the landscape design of the Town Hall facility. (enclosed) Mr.Taylor suggested the Conuru*ttee consider removing the existing shrubbery around the perimeter of the building, and plant two holly trees to enhance and define the front entrance of the Town Hall facility. To further delineate the front entrance,Mr. Taylor recommended to designate the two front spaces to the left of the entrance for handicap and general delivery parking only. The Department of Public Works was directed by the Committee to plant two American holly trees to define and enhance the front entrance of the Town Hall facility. Mr. Taylor was also requested to remove all existing shrubbery around the perimeter of the building as recommended. In an effort to provide a more pleasing appearance to the rear of the Town Hall facility,Mr. Taylor recommended the Cor m tree consider extending the loam and sod area around the exterior planters. Upon removal of the existing oil tank, and demolition of the Portable office unit,Mr. Taylor stated that his department could begin the general landscape and repair process.
