Page Town Hall Building Committee Minutes March 26, 1997 REPORT OF THE A CF=CT Mr,Holt indicated that 'Agostino Associates is expected to begin the demolition process on April 7, 1997,and complete the Town Hall renovation restoration project in approximately -6 weeks thereafter. Final issues relative to change order items will be addressed by the architect, and presented to the general contractor this week. Mr. Hoit indicated that there were several outstanding issues relative to the extension of the sprinkler distribution and heads, the stairwell, steel work and additional work in the lower level of the Town Hall building. The above items will be reflected as Change Order 6. Discussion followed with regards to incomplete punch list items. Mr. Vaccaro indicated that corrective measures are steadily progressing. He will update the punch list, and forward the remaining issues to be addressed to the architect. Mr. Iloit indicated that a solution will be determined to correct elevations in the basement for use as active space. Cynthia Surges,Community Development Administrator indicated that several payroll issues have been resolved. The sum of$23,500 remains outstanding in compliance issues. It was noted that the Committee withheld the sum of$53,000 pending receipt of certified payrolls. Mrs. Sturges indicated that she is satisfied, and recommended the Committee authorize payment to 'Agostino Associates in the amount of $2'9,500 at this time. Discussion followed with respect to pending compliance issues, and related general job construction and project completion. Motion made by Mr. Buckingham to approve the release of $29,500, to be released to 'Altos ino Associates upon remobili a ion of phase 11 of the Town Hall construction project as recommended. Motion seconded by Mr. Martini. Unanimous. 3-0. 1&s. Mason was directed to notify the Chairman of the Town lull Building Committee upon commencement of phase H of the project scope. In other business, Mr.Holt indicated that he will respond to the memo he received from the Building Inspector. In addition, Mr. Holt was directed by the Cornrrfittee to design shelving dimensions for the vault.
